PO1 Knowledge - Breadth a creative, working, and hands-on knowledge of the audio programming software packages, the sequencing and composition software packages, studio recording and editing/mixing systems, mixing desks, and surround sound systems.
PO2 Knowledge - Kind the ability to critically assess the adequacy of a recording studio / venue, its equipment, a range of different computer applications, and be able to offer clarity of perspective and services, with regard to technology, to musicians an other persons who work in arts
PO3 Skill - Range a creative and competent knowledge of a very broad range of tools, from software to hardware.
PO4 Skill - Selectivity adaptability to new hardware and software packages, and use these packages creatively and in novel ways appropriate to the undertaking.
PO5 Competence - Context the ability to integrate seamlessly with a project group, readily identifying the needs of that group and offering novel solutions to the group for a variety of problems.
PO6 Competence - Role responsibility for their own role as well as aiding and understanding the role of the other group members giving a “big picture” view to others in the group if needed.

Year 1 / Semester 1

Year 1 Semester 1 Elective Regulation
Learners must select two of the modules from Group Elective 1 (MMED6025, SOFT6013, ELTR9002). Learners also select EITHER one of the modules from Group Elective 2 (MUSC8017, MUSC8019, MUSC8029, MUSC8070, MUSC8082, MUSC8050) OR another Elective to achieve 30 semester module credits in total. MUSC8017 and MUSC8019, MUSC8070, MUSC8082 and MUSC8050 are resource dependent and may not be offered. Previously completed Electives for which you have already gained credit cannot be retaken.
