Module Description: Computer Music 1 explores alternative methods of sound creation and expression, presenting the tools and techniques for this form of expression and facilitating the composition of electro-acoustic music.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO2 Incorporate accepted and novel techniques for composition and explore new sound worlds in a manner informed by experimentation.
LO3 Analyse various electronic works by key Irish and International composers.
LO4 Critically discuss elements of the history of Electronic Music composition.
LO5 Satisfactorily perform their own computer-based compositions.
