This module facilitates the realisation of advanced sculptural projects within a contemporary art context to a high technical and aesthetic standard. Emphasis is placed on self-directed and independent led inquiry with strong focus on material led exploration, fabrication and use of process led study.

Conceive, research and develop suitable ideas and concepts for production using both contemporary and traditional sculptural technologies. |

Plan a programme of conceptual and technical study with emphasis on an individual visual enquiry. |

Individual/Independent Practice
The development of self directed /independent practice supported in the workshop environment. Creative exploration of ideas through the methods and practices utilised in sculptural production using innovative contemporary and non traditional technologies.

Display & Presentation Requirements
This module addresses the critical analysis and evaluation of the student's artworks and conceptual investigations. The application of appropriate methodologies, techniques and materials are investigated in contemporary practices. This process is explored within the studio environment via tutorial, critique and review.
