Module Description: This module will introduce the student to the conceptual framework underpinning the reward management function and aims to develop knowledge of the key processes of employee reward. The module will build on and further develop the students knowledge and understanding through the use of current academic literature.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO2 Discuss the role of reward stategies and reward policies.
LO3 Appraise the concept of the psychological contract.
LO4 Analyse motivation theories, engagement and talent management in the context of their relationship to employee reward
LO5 Evaluate the contextual environment of the reward function.
LO6 Describe recent development in psychological contract literature.
