Module Description: |
Traditionally change management involved optimising processes, reducing risk and responding to external environment. This module aims to equip learners with the skills to develop the new ways of thinking required to drive and manage organisational change in the digital age. The module will provide learners with opportunities to explore the emergent role of the change champion in leveraging technology to reimagine and reinvent the business itself.

The ethics of managing change. Identify resistance to change, how to minimise and overcome resistance to change. Creating change champions and change challengers. Planning for change, managing change, managing organisational restructuring or transformation. Responding to increased complexity and wicked problems.

Employee Engagement
The theory of employee engagement. Characteristics of engaged employees. Employee engagement drivers during change vs. status quo. Impact of organisational change on employee engagement.

Evaluation of Change process
Assessing employee engagement levels during times of change. Identify skills gaps and need for skill building and development. Identify critical success factors, milestones and implementation. Design measurements using selected outcomes or KPIs.
Analysis of impact of communication strategies.
