Module Description: |
This module explores the aviation business and its environment from the perspective of those that may have some exposure to that industry. The module looks at the strategic, tactical and operational aspects of the business while exploring trends and challenges. Key aspects of the aviation ecosystem are discussed including human resource management, risk management and aviation finance.

Evaluate the strategic challenges and opportunities of the aviation world with respect to aviation, aviation infrastructure and airlines. |

Appraise the functional aspects of aviation finance with respect to its operation and its sectoral context with particular emphasis on hedging and leasing. |

Evaluate various existing and emergent business models at the heart of the aviation industry and its associated business segments. |
LO4 |
Analyse the specific challenges associated with various business functions within the aviation industry with specific emphasis on HRM, Marketing and Logistics. |
LO5 |
Discuss the stakeholder environment of the aviation industry while detailing knowledge of regulation, competition, shareholders and the macro environment. |
