Module Description: This module completes the historical investigation of musical theatre concluding with the mega, jukebox and film musicals of the late twentieth- and early twenty-first centuries. Presentation skills are developed towards industry norms.

Musical Theatre Chorus
Rehearsal and performance of repertoire from the late twentieth- and early twenty-first centuries; stylistic awareness and fusions of genre; applied musicianship skills (sight-reading and melody repetition).
Repertory Studies
The legacy of Stephen Sondheim; shifting business models and the mega-musical; hip-hop and rap music; jukebox and film musicals; presentation skills and responding to feedback.
Theory and Rudiments of Music
Orchestral instruments, transposition and clef usage; composing melodies, sequences and motifs; score reading and listening skills.
