This module enables students to design, conduct, collate and present an independent piece of research with reference to Montessori philosophy (children aged birth to12 yrs) with supervisory support.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to: |

LO1 |
Compile a dissertation with reference to Montessori theory (birth to 12 Years). |
LO2 |
Apply relevant ethical research principles including those that pertain to children. |
LO3 |
Utilise feedback from supervisor mentoring sessions to work independently. |
LO4 |
Synthesise findings from primary and secondary sources to form recommendations. |
LO5 |
Orally present research processes and findings using visual aids. |

Small group supervisory sessions; research breakdown; progress reports and feedback.

Academic Writing and Resource Preparation
Guidance related to generic research design, data collection, data analysis, report writing, editing and referencing. Design and creation of visually engaging resources, representing the research process.
