This module explores the application of strategic management theories and techniques in a wide range of international business settings. It aims to expand the student's perspective in the area of strategic organisational management and international business growth.

Critically evaluate the concepts of internationalisation, globalisation, and appraise why and how its proceeding at a rapid rate. |

Analyse international business for the purpose of formulating and implementing a global strategy in line with best practice. |
LO3 |
Assess the complex and changing international trade patterns and foreign direct investment flows and how the rise of MNC's is changing the global economy. |
LO4 |
Critically evaluate the opportunities and threats faced by global organisations and assess their impact in a changing global economy. |
LO5 |
Critique the role of management tasks, skills and responsibilities, in delivering the building blocks to meet the challenges of the global economy. |

Analyse the role and impact of finance and trade policies on the global economy. |
LO7 |
Critically assess the importance of key functions and roles and their effect on an organisations global strategy. |

Develop a coherent, rational strategy to encapsulate all the key requirements of an organisation's global strategy. |
