Module Description: This module concentrates on the initiation of a personal work programme, and continuing strategies applying visual research through production in preferred medium.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Analytical & imaginative response to visual research gathered, personal collections of objects & artifacts.
Methodologies
Innovatively explore appropriate methods of production within glass, ceramics and textiles to creatively challenge the research.
Technical Processes
Development of skills required to translate research concepts into ceramics, glass, textiles.
Skill Development
Identify, select and practice appropriate skills for the creative development of the research material gathered and the brief set.
Health and Safety
Effective and efficient organisation of workshop space and studio practice, considering safe use of materials, tools and equipment within individual and group workshop areas.
