Module Description: This module will allow students to develop their own material led ideas and concepts through a thematic based inquiry of 3 Dimensional production and fabrication practices . Emphasis will be placed on their utilisation of advanced sculptural practices in the context of contemporary fine art practice.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Demonstrate an individual enquiry based on an appropriate level of visual research and investigation.
LO2 Present a clear and concise understanding of the fundamental principles of current sculptural practices and use of relevant materials and practices.
LO3 Realise proposals to an acceptable technical and aesthetic standard using appropriate sculptural processes and techniques.
LO4 Critically analyse their own work within the context of current sculptural art and 3 -Dimensional practices.
