Introduction to HOTS Business Simulation
An introduction to the Hotel Operations & Tactics Simulation (HOTS) Software, the user interface and how the simulator works. Selection of team leaders and assigning roles.

Simulation: The External Environment
Students are presented with market information and asked to propose a strategy for the company in the following 3-5 years.

Simulation: On-going
Students will interact with the computer on a weekly basis and using detailed information and feedback make decisions about how to move the business forward. Depending on time constraints and class size it is expected that the simulation should run anywhere from 3-5 years over the course of a semester.

Simulation: Business Cases
Students will be presented with business cases which may reflect the direction in which the simulation is going, or a contemporary issue of relevance to the hospitality industry.

Simulation: Review
Students will critically evaluate their team and company performance.
