Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Indicative Content
Sets
Set types - cloths, flats, open, representational - and the materials used in their construction.
Construction
Basic design skills for carpentry and painting.
Design
Function, integration with other design elements - lighting & costuming, access, load-bearing characteristics, moving and flying, trucks.
Props
Fabrication and painting.
Technical Drawing & Model Making
Detailed plans specifying materials and exact dimensions. Scale modelling.
