Module Description: The learner will undertake a relevant work placement of no less than 10 weeks. The aim of the industrial placement is to introduce the learner to structured employment in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) sector. The industrial placement program will familiarise the student with work practices and procedures and provide the learner with the opportunity to observe the practical application of theoretical knowledge gained on the program. The placement is supported by a member of academic staff in MTU together with a workplace mentor.
