A focus on start ups and micro businesses operating in Ireland. Students will make comparisons to large businesses using case studies. Students will conduct an analysis on how these micro businesses initially set up and the supports available to assist them; as well as obstacles encountered.

Apply the SWOT analysis to the micro business industry in Ireland. |

Examine relevant sources of private and public assistance and finance available to Irish micro enterprises. |

Investigate the contribution and impact of large companies to the micro business sector in Ireland. |
