Module Description: This module allows learners to gain an understanding of their personal learning needs as part of their continued professional development. Learners will develop an understanding of their personal leadership style and approach to managing change in an ever-evolving global work environment. Participants will have the opportunity to critically analyse team dynamics, as well as develop awareness of their role and that of their colleagues in the formation of successful teams. Learners will engage with their future credible career goals and focus on the development of their skills repertoire in an era of lifelong learning and technological change.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Explore the concept of lifelong learning and continued professional development. Evaluate, analyse and develop own personal learning needs analysis, and demonstrate self-awareness.
LO2 Critically reflect upon personal preferences and practice skills allowing for enhanced personal insight into coping with, and managing change responsibly.
LO3 Develop tools and frameworks to refine your personal leadership purpose, in alignment with the purpose of your organisation.
LO4 Analyse the factors affecting team dynamics along with their own role in managing these dynamics successfully.
LO5 Develop a career plan, having reflected on professional and personal development goals.

Development of self-awareness & recognising your potential to impact, and capacity to contribute to the wider economy and society as a business leader.
Change Management
Managing change responsibly. Demonstrate an up-to-date specialised knowledge of change management frameworks paying particular attention to identifying how their activities are shaped by government policy and by economic conditions. The role of Ethics, Technology & Environmental Sustainability in contemporary change management. Triple bottom line ā€“ 3Pā€™s of People, Profit & Planet.
Personal Effectiveness
Personality types, resilience, emotional intelligence, problem solving and influencing people, negotiation & conflict management.
