Module Description: This module continues the ensemble track where students advance further in their tripartite skillset of acting, singing and dance; as well as practical participation in the production elements of a full-scale musical theatre presentation
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Partake in the planning and production of a large-scale Musical Theatre presentation
LO2 Work as part of an industry-style theatre company and take direction from Creative/Production team as appropriate
LO3 Interface with technical and design team as required by industry norms
LO4 Develop an understanding of the wide range of budgetary elements associated in the production of a full scale musical theatre presentation
LO5 Perform in roles and styles dictated by various libretti studied and the director's artistic realisation of them

Understand the Director's artistic vision - both for each scene and for the overall theatrical presentation
Role / Function / Structure
Exploring and understanding not just text, melody and harmonic structure of a given song, but also its role and function within the overall piece
Choreography
Exploring and understanding how staging, choreography and choreographic style can influence, support and inform the artistic / creative intent of any given moment or the overall production
