Module Description: |
The fifth in a sequential set of modules, Musical Theatre Ensemble 5 is based on an exploration of the totality of elements arising in the presentation of a full scale musical theatre presentation/performance performance. Students deploy the tripartite skillset required by the industry i.e acting, singing, and dancing and additionally, explore the interface with supporting technical departments / design team / and the role(s) of the production company.

Perform as part of a musical theatre ensemble, large and/or small scale, incorporating staging, movement, choreography, song and dialogue |

Take direction and share opinion relating to both the choosing and execution of performance material for ensemble presentation |

Focus on and appreciate, the central importance of text, spoken or sung |
LO4 |
Understand the role of all supporting technical departments e.g.
LX, Sound, Stage Management
and the Design departments e.g Set, Props, Wardrobe, Hair & Make Up. |
