Sight-read and perform vocal repertory in 3 to 5 parts |

Identify complex harmonic entities in selected extracts from the literature |

Lead a small orchestra or choir confidently after thorough preparation of a score |

Aural skills
Continuation of development of sight-reading; aural analysis; score-reading; aural perception with particular emphasis on extracts from 20th century repertory; aural perception of 3- and 4-part works of the 16th and 20th centuries; aural perception of canonic and fugal techniques.

Advanced harmony and analysis
Analysis of complex harmonic entities and their functional relationships.

Conducting technique
Silent practice of set repertory; conducting and rehearsing the student group; all with video recording.
