Module Description: The aim of this module is to give the candidate a sound theoretical knowledge of the operation of an aeroplane to EASA OPS requirements, and to teach the skills necessary for the safe and competent operation of such aircraft in a commercial aviation environment. This in conformity with EASA FCL and EASA OPS.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Fly an aeroplane in a Commercial Pilot Licence capacity.
LO2 Navigate in VFR conditions using dead reckoning techniques including diversions and poor weather conditions.
LO3 Navigate in simulated Instrument Meteorological Conditions using all available instrumentation in the aircraft.
LO4 Carry out all emergency drills to a competency level acceptable to the test standards of the IAA.
LO5 Apply theoretical knowledge in order to plan and carry out a flight in a cost effective and efficient manner.
LO6 Identify any risks or threats to the safety of the flight and apply the required actions quickly and accurately.
