Introduction to Accounting
Terminology in accounting, use of financial accounts and accounting concepts and bases
Double Entry Accounting
The accounting equation, accounting for sales, purchases, returns, expenses, revenue, assets, liabilities and capital, balancing accounts, preparing a trial balance
Financial Statements
Preparation of financial statement for businesses operating in the tourism and hospitality sector from trial balance to final accounts
Bank Reconciliation Statements
Preparation of adjusted cash books and reconciliation of these to bank statements
