Module Description: This module centres around a project that involves an understanding of elementary players’ abilities and also provides practice in score-reading. Maximum 20 students. In the case of over-enrolment, selective procedures will apply.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO2 Arrange a folk melody for elementary ensemble
LO3 Use music notation software to an appropriate level
LO4 Work towards a deadline, with time for multiple revisions
LO5 Employ the most common transposing instruments in orchestration
LO6 Follow a complex orchestral score
