Module Description: This module introduces the student to various scaled mechanical orthographic drawing types,to drawing standards and conventions in order to present and clearly communicate interior design proposals
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Identify and use draughting instruments/equipment and materials for mechanical/technical drawing presentations
LO2 To apply drawing standards and conventions as used in this industry in conjunction with a legible and appropriate lettering style
LO3 Communicate interior architectural design ideas clearly through scaled mechanical plans,sections,elevations and three-dimensional drawings
LO4 Illustrate the use of semi-formal perspective set-up and apply projection (where appropriate) in creating scaled orthographic drawings
