Module Description: To introduce the student to a freehand representation and communication skill set appropriate for a career in interior architecture.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Apply a range of freehand sketching/drawing techniques
LO2 Acknowledge and represent colour and light in sketches/drawings
LO3 Develope,progress and communicate a design concept through sketch,render and freehand proportional orthographic drawing types
LO4 Present and communicate with clarity a resolved design proposal in freehand proportional orthographic drawings and rendered sketch perspectives

Freehand Graphics
In this module the student is introduced to: sketching with pencil and pen,line-weights,tonal shading and colour rendering,light and shade,freehand proportional orthographic plans and sections,lettering and annotation,people and figures,basic one-point sketch perspectives and presentation skills.
