Indicative Content |
General
Fresh opportunities and challenges are a regular feature of a conductor's life, and will prompt a variety of studies according to the nature of the opportunity and the individual student's abilities. The areas of development covered previously (technical understanding, programme design, preparation of performing material, technical skills, artistical development and organisational issues) should be forming into a rounded whole, operating instinctively. A strong, interactive, non-verbal communication with the ensemble members and/or soloist(s) should contribute to the formation of a conductor's individual personality during this module. The programme presented should include a work for accompanied soloist if not already included in MUSC9014 or MUSC9017.
