Know the purpose of the exercise and how the knowledge gained can be applied in practice. Link exercises to the strands and sub strands of the Primary School Curriculum.

Demonstrate each exercise and place it in the continuum of exercises within the specific curricular area.
Learn to demonstrate all Montessori exercises under each curricular area. Knowledge of inherent sequence of exercises.

Expound on the learning outcomes for the child 9 - 12 years.
State the learning outcomes for each area of the curriculum. Outline teaching strategies and assessment techniques. Devise relevant assessment modes to quantify knowledge, skills and competence of learners.

Critically reflect on the skills developed through the study of each curricular area 9 - 12 years.
Communication, analytical, problem solving, reasoning and research skills relevant to each curricular area. Competence and confidence in each subject area is required.
