Module Description: |
This module involves students in generating an effective and detailed plan for independent photographic practice. Students are required to critically analyse the issues, themes and directions emerging in their personal practice and are required to generate a brief from which to work. Students are asked to reflect on, accept and adopt the responsibilities and work practices involved in independent practice.

Work Analysis
Critical analysis of the issues, themes and directions emerging in personal photography practice. Applying critical theory to the student's own photography work. Critical and analytical appraisal of other photographic images.

Proposal for Independent Practice
Generating a project brief. Independent research techniques. Planning an efficient workflow through the stages of research, pre-production, production and post-production. Planning the presentation of the work.
