Module Description: |
This module seeks to prepare the learner to run creative music workshops in a variety of settings. Areas such as project planning, funding and evaluation will be covered, alongside the development of instrumental and vocal skills suitable for use in this area. Observation and participation in existing projects as well as the devising of new project work are important aspects in this module.

Develop a wide range of music facilitation skills for enabling participants, both musicians and non musicians, to engage in creative music workshops in a variety of settings |

Experience and appraise workshop skills and project management through observation and participation in established projects |

Respond to musical interactions and react to group dynamics and other issues involved in effective community music practice |
LO4 |
Acquire a secure foundation on piano / voice / guitar / percussion for use in workshop settings |

Developing music facilitation skills for workshop activities, group composition and their application in workshop settings. Planning, preparation and evaluation of projects.
