Module Description: An experiential course that builds on the essentials of Scriptwriting 1. Learners are required to write the first treatments of a one act play, short film, or first half of a longer work for relevant media.

Indicative Content
Media Writing Conventions
Scripts for TV, film and theatre have structural conventions that must be followed if a script is to be considered for professional submission. These conventions are analysed and employed in the learner's work
Feedback
Participate in constructive feedback and support of other learners in development of work. Issues such as readability, accessibiltiy, consistency and character throughlines are discussed
Script Development
Building on the foundation work of Scriptwriting 1, learners will write a script (minimum length 30 page). This can be presented as a one act play, short film or the first act/part of a play or film script
