Module Description: An in-depth study of Dramatherapy, focusing in particular on 2/3 key approaches. The application of these approaches will be considered in some detail. The learner will be required to facilitate brief dramatherapy sessions with their peers.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Indicative Content
A detailed look at the Field of Dramatherapy
The learner will continue to explore the field of Dramatherapy (experientially and theoretically). Particular emphasis will be placed on 2/3 key approaches
Dramatherapy, Applied
Further exploration of how dramatherapy can be applied: The learner will explore and consider how particular approaches and specific techniques and exercises might be helpful in working with various clients/client groups
Designing and Structuring a Session
Students will design, structure and facilitate a short dramtherapy session with their peers
Legal/Ethical Issues
An in-depth look at professional and ethical issues
Personal Reflection and Evaluation
Students will record, reflect upon and analyse their own learning and development
