Module Description: This is a capstone module that affords the student the opportunity to focus on their best performing area, acting, singing or dance. They prepare and present a bespoke performance at an advanced level with professional production and performance values.

Conceiving an original performance, integrated and made coherent by creative, interpretive, and thematic means.
Research
Contextualisation and deep understanding of the material and the performance process
Skill Development
Intensive training in the skills needed to articulate and interpret the chosen programme
Performance Enhancement
The exploration of physical and cognitive techniques to enhance creativity and interpretive depth in the performance
Production Skills
The building and direction of a creative and production support team. Branding and marketing the event and the performer. Promotion and audience building.
Performance Research
Reflection on the artistic experience and documentation that allows the academic promulgation of any new learning and insight.

Candidates are accepted for this module by the module board, on the basis of an individual proposal, past results and appropriate achievements. Based on the tripartite discipline ethos underpinning the course, the student student takes the five-credit platform module in the two specialisms not taken in this ten-credit module.
