On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Thoroughly prepare in private an item for small choir
LO2 Securely & communicatively conduct an item for small choir
LO3 Coach an individual or group in basic vocal technique and confidently rehearse an item for small choir
LO4 Coach an amateur choir in French, German, Italian & Irish pronunciation; translate standard Latin texts (Mass; Requiem)
LO5 Discern the inner lines in choral music
LO6 Prepare a choral score at the piano

Study of French, German, Italian, Irish & Latin texts in the repertory

According to individual needs - e.g. work with student's own choir or similar work; practice of vocal technique by a non-singer; Tai-Chi; critical study of recordings; etc.
