Module Description: This module explores drawing concepts in Fine Art practice as a means of extending the learners visual vocabulary.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO2 Confidently use experimental drawing processes within given parameters.
LO3 Display an awareness of the varied application of media and drawing processes in fine art practice.
LO4 Evaluate and apply drawing processes with proficiency and confidence.
LO5 Apply correctly etiquette and health and safety requirements when working in a life room with a life model.

Indicative Content
Group Critique
Critical and contextual group discussions centred on a range of traditional and non-traditional fine art drawing practices.
Research
Compile and record documentation of class based visual experiments. Collect relevant sources of contemporary exhibition and critical reviews.
Practical
Introduction to analytic observational drawing skills from the life model and additional studio/off site sources. Introduction to the analysis of drawing outcomes which combine languages such as 2D, 3D and lense- based, including peer collaboration.
