Module Description: This module aims to give learners a detailed and up-to-date perspective on the digital media and new media industies.
Through invited presentations by industry experts and practitioners the learner will have an opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with key personnel as well as potential employers. The module presents the learner with an
insight into existing and emerging approaches with regard to work processes, practices and production as well as larger related socio-economic and socio-technical trends and contexts.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO2 Provide insights inside the processes of media creation, production and delivery by critical reflection on engagement with established industry players and sources

LO4 Critically appraise new media services and products in terms of key industry criteria.
