Module Description: This module provides students with an opportunity to develop the concepts, principles and practices introduced in the module Intro to Accounting (Rec Leis) and introduces the management accounting concepts of budgeting, cost classification and breakeven analysis

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Fixed, variable and semi-variable costs, contribution, break even analysis, margin of safety and their limitations

The budgeting process, budgetary control and the preparation of cash and other budgets
Financial Statements for companies
Types of shares, dividends, loans and loan interest, year end adjustments and the preparation of final accounts for companies
