Module Description: A devised internship on a CSM project utilising a previously acquired, specific theatre skill, typically a technical, stage management or dramaturgical role.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Requirements

A proposed internship must be appropriate to the individual and to their previously acquired skills. A suitable supervisor must also available and approve the proposal, the evidence of relevant prior learning will be taken into account.
 
Indicative Content
Design
A designer will assist in the design and fabrication (where appropriate) of the relevant element or aspect of the production
Technical Support
A technician will employ and informed and creative use of theatre technology
Direction
Assistant Directors or Dramaturgs will assist in the development and facilitation of the production
Production and Stage management
Production and Stage management staff will administer, co-ordinate and execute relevant work
Specialist Performance Skills
Interns chosen to input specialist skills, including but not limited to: choreography, voice and accent coaching, movement & mime,and music will follow an individualised programme.
Documentation
All interns will plan, document and evaluate their work
