Module Description: This module encompasses creative digital technology with the emphasis on graphic design, image making and problem solving skills. It enables design students to undertake exploration & experimentation of digital software in the creation of their own designs with a key emphasis on self directed practice.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO3 Create final digital artwork for reproduction demonstrating technical competence

Indicative Content
Preparatory Imagery
Create/design appropriate imagery as outlined by a given brief.
Digital Software Programmes
Using digital software tools - editing, image compositing, illustration, patterns, colour, blending, effects. Working across multiple applications, save to appropriate formats.
Artwork
Create artwork of a finished visual in a digital format for print reproduction.
