Stages of the Project Lifecycle/Process Groups
Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, closing

PMBOK Knowledge Areas: integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder management

Assessment Description
In-class assessment using appropriate computer software to plan a project. For example: given a WBS and substantial detail for a new project, use MS Project to plan the estimated costs and schedule involved. Tasks required to achieve this include creating and applying an appropriate project calendar; entering individual, summary, and recurring tasks and their durations; applying constraints and interdependencies; inputting and assigning resources.
