Module Description: A public performance of a substantial, complete work from the standard concerto repertory, or an equivalent solo programme. This will be promoted employing current media technology.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Indicative Content
Presentation of a solo concerto or recital in a public performance
Absorb technical and stylistic dimensions of the repertoire covered. Rehearsal strategies. Fine-tuning mental exercises such as memorisation, sharp concentration and mental resilience and physical stamina.
Effective communication
Performing with eloquence, poise and stage presence and managing emotional and physical states during performance. Expression of strong artistic concepts and all necessary virtuoso qualities
Self-promotion using media technology
Poster design, media publicity, use of audio visual technology. Programme and programme notes. Using digital and social media for concert promotion.
