Module Description: This module will enable the student to focus research and hone all skills necessary to produce a body of professional standard original work in ceramics, glass and/or textiles for public exhibition.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Create an advanced body of work for exhibition.
LO2 Demonstrate key critical, technical and contemporary practice, through their chosen discipline.
LO3 Display assured understanding and development of methodologies appropriate to the realisation of a professional body of work.
LO4 Explore, appreciate and demonstrate the importance of critical discourse in contemporary applied art practice.
LO5 Complete required exhibition preparation documentation including an artist statement, exhibition formulation plans, technical specifications and risk assessment.
LO6 Develop and apply expertise in selection and use of skills, for the clear and effective realisation of the research material.
LO7 Employ in depth exploratory thinking, investigation, visualisation and production of work.
LO8 Review and explore the presentation of work, to a professional standard, for public exhibition.
LO9 Communicate concepts, methodologies, processes and outcomes to peers and practitioners.
