The module provides an introduction to web design and interactive media. It covers how to analyse and evaluate interactive multimedia. It also deals with the design and technical considerations for the production and management of media types such as text, graphics, audio and video content, which can be delivered via the web.

Strategies & Case Studies - Analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages of production.

Interactive media design practical
Research, scripting, storyboard, prototyping, testing and review. Concept development, structuring content, navigation and interaction. Sourcing and production of various media types such as text and graphics, audio and video. HTML - Formatting, Tables HTML Editors – Controlling Text, Graphics, Formatting Text, Layout, Using Libraries & Templates, Forms, Behaviours & Media Animation for the web. Website Management Site testing, maintenance and uploading.
