The International Economy
The development of the international economy. The role of key agencies in International Trade. The impact of Globalisation on International Trade. The use of Incoterms 2010.
The E.U.
The development of the E.U. The Single Market. The Common Customs Tariff. Key Treaty provisions. The effect of Regulations and Directives.
Customs Framework
The current legislative framework.Objectives of the current rules. Regulation of trade between E.U. member states. Regulation of Trade between the E.U. and it's trading partners. Classification and valuation. Import and export clearance processes.
Dispute Resolution and Payment Procedures
Trade Documents. Terms of Payment. Insurance. The conflict of laws. The use of arbitration. The enforcement of judgements
