Module Description: This module covers the initiation and application of Visual Research Strategies towards the formulation and implementation of an individual Studio work-plan.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Apply a range of methods of investigation and select appropriate media, processes and skills to develop a personal work programme.
LO2 Use a range of approaches in responding to a concept, using both objective and non-objective research.
LO3 Explore strategies for extending and translating visual responses.
LO4 Articulate and evaluate concepts, visual research and studio practice within a contemporary and art historical context.
LO5 Apply an appropriate level of production and presentation giving consideration to selection, organization, display, use of resources and audience response.
LO6 Inform and develop an individual studio practice using a range of research approaches
