Module Description: This module develops the learners understanding of concept, presentation and communication skills within the context of a developing individual art practice.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Demonstrate through a body of work the role played by intellectual, aesthetic and philosophical enquiry underpinning visual thinking.
LO2 Explore a broad rage of methods for the generation of ideas.
LO3 Display relevant use of appropriate research to support their practice.
LO4 Extend the range of appropriate references necessary to bring ideas through to realisation
LO5 Show evidence of the role that evaluation and selection of work plays in the development of concept.

Studio practice
Centered on research which is individual and self directed, culminating in the production of artwork of a coherent nature.
Presentation and communication skills
Analysis, presentation and verbal communication of visual information. Sketchbook and folder selection and organization of elementary display skills.
