Module Description: A firm’s strategy implementation capabilities are a key determinant of the organisation’s strategy performance outcomes. This module focuses on dynamic aspects of an organisation, fundamental to the successful and effective implementation of an organisation’s chosen corporate strategy.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Critically evaluate current methodologies used to facilitate corporate strategy implementation in a case study.
LO2 Apply appropriate judgement in the effective selection and application of appropriate methodologies to support successful corporate strategy implementation in a case study.
LO3 Analyse the essential role of an appropriate organisational structure and culture in the successful implementation of corporate strategy.
LO4 Critically assess the essential role of effective control mechanisms and comprehensive governance systems in the successful implementation of corporate strategy.
LO5 Discuss strategic leadership and managing organisational change in the context of corporate strategy implementation and evaluate the importance of corporate entrepreneurship.
