Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Discuss the importance of capital structure for companies and outline the concept of cost of capital
LO2 Perform detailed ratio analysis on companies accounts under a number of criteria
LO3 Explain working capital management concepts and apply these concepts to optimise performance
LO4 Apply foreign exchange risk management methods such as hedging to minimise foreign exchange transaction and translation risk
LO5 Discuss and describe dividend policy and its importance in the context of 'signalling' and company considerations
