Module Description: This subject enables the student to appreciate the financial objectives of organisations, to advise clients in the context of a proposed sale/merger/acquisition of a business and to select appropriate (depending on circumstances) sources of finances for an organisation.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO2 Discuss and critique the present and emerging role of capital markets.
LO3 Explain and advise as to how to follow merger and acquisition processes and governing procedures.
LO4 Advise clients as to the indicative value of their business.
LO5 Prepare and present the financial elements of a business plan.
LO6 Explain and advise a client on the suitability of using the various sources of finance available to organisations.
