On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Demonstrate analytical & imaginative response to visual material gathered, including critical evaluation & creative interpretation of material.
Research
Source, collate and explore primary and secondary information. identify and expand the central theme and associated subject areas. critically evaluate, select and expand.
Processes
Experiment with various media/materials/methods to inovatively explore and creatively challenge the research topic.
Skill Development
Identify, select and use appropriate skills & methodologies to assist the construction, deconstruction & manipulation of materials for the purpose of furthering the research & its ultimate production.
Health & Safety
Effective and efficient organisation of workshop space and studio practice, considering safe use of materials, tools and equipment within individual and group workshop areas
