Module Description: Industrial Internship programme incorporating placement in an Hospitality related organisation. The student is expected to integrate all aspects of learning previously undertaken and implement within a practical working environment and where possible accept responsibility for the completion of tasks. This module is designed for hospitality managers and placement is completed within this sector. This placement may be domestic or International.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO3 Reflect on internship programme with regard to their experience, challenges and lessons learnt.

CV preparation, Cover Letters, Professional social skills , Interview techniques, Business interaction and communication. Visit to hotel property.
Placement Preparation
Reflective practice, how to self evaluate, How to deal with feedback, Integrating into the workplace, Managing the Internship experience.
Supervised Placement Internship
Internship programme. An agreed programme will involve a agreed programme of development where awareness of responsibilities involving all stakeholder -industry, student and Institute are clearly identified, agreed and implemented .
