On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Terminology, users, accounting concepts and principles, the accounting equation
Accounting systems
Double entry accounting, balancing accounts and trial balance
Financial statements and year end adjustments
Bad debts, depreciation, prepayments and accruals and the preparation of final accounts.
